Students in the Bachelor of Fine Arts in Art and Visual Culture Education program with an emphasis in Teaching graduate as art teachers qualified to teach art in K-12 schools. Students study the theoretical foundations of the discipline and take part in hands-on experiences, field observations, student teaching, and community and museum internships. Coursework comprises general education, studio work, art history, art education and the student teaching practicum.
