These courses provide a foundation for application to pedagogical issues in teaching the language as well as societal challenges in bilingual communities. Spanish majors seeking total language immersion also have opportunities to study abroad in Costa Rica, Spain and Chile. Graduates find roles in language education and other rewarding fields.
