Accountants play an important role in business, providing key information that underpins the work of decision makers within organisations. Along with all aspects of accountancy, you'll study topics in economics, law and management. Professional accountants prepare financial statements and record business transactions; they also use information systems to track financial performance and participate in mergers and acquisitions and the governance of organisations.
