Students in the BS program in biochemistry take courses in a wide array of subjects, such as basic chemistry, the properties and function of biomolecules, and the mechanisms of cellular function and living organisms. The Bachelor of Science program in biochemistry provides the necessary training for competitive applications to the medical, dental, pharmacy and other health-related graduate schools, and to advanced graduate research degree programs in biochemistry.
