Students acquire basic knowledge of psychology theory and practice. They develop skills in research analysis, critical thinking and the ability to interact effectively with a range of diverse groups across scientific interests and disciplines. In addition to coursework, the BS in psychology offers students the opportunity to work alongside world-class faculty researching the brain and behavior. Students can prepare for interesting careers using psychology by working in functioning research laboratories studying the complexities of human and animal behavior.
