The BA program in theatre with a concentration in acting provides students with a rigorous academic and hands-on theatre education that emphasizes performance in both live theatre and recorded media. Within the context of a comprehensive liberal arts education, the program prepares students for both advanced graduate study in the field and entry-level careers in acting and performance. The program offers specialty coursework in the following areas: film, movement, new work development, performance styles, theatre for youth and voice and speech.
