This programme provides a firm foundation in Finance, Financial Economics and Empirical Finance. The MSc is specifically designed to support career entry and development in the financial sectors, government agencies and to higher education. The programme provides a solid grounding in modern finance and economics with a particular emphasis on techniques and models and their application to real-world problems.

GPA requirements may differ depending on the country you where you graduated. To study for a master's degree at the University of Liverpool, you must first complete the pre-master's courses offered by the University. Also, your study period can be extended if your English language skills are not good. Bear in mind that this program requires a minimum IELTS score of 6.5 (Listening 6, Reading 6, Writing 6, Speaking 6), or a minimum TOEFL score of 88 (Listening 19, Writing 19, Reading 19, Speaking 20).
