This programme will provide advanced training in geographical thought and analysis. Students will choose either of two 'pathways' - "Social/Cultural Geography" and "Population Studies". These are based in the areas of research expertise of the Human Geography staff within the Department of Geography & Planning.
GPA requirements may differ depending on the country you where you graduated. To study for a master's degree at the University of Liverpool, you must first complete the pre-master's courses offered by the University. Also, your study period can be extended if your English language skills are not good. Bear in mind that this program requires a minimum IELTS score of 6.5 (Listening 5.5, Reading 5.5, Writing 5.5, Speaking 5.5), or a minimum TOEFL score of 88 (Listening 17, Writing 17, Reading 17, Speaking 19).
