Public Health

It is an essential programme if you are working in any area of public health: governmental organisations; health services management; policy and planning; housing; transport; or for community groups and NGOs. Public health aims to tackle the wider determinants of health, and as a multidisciplinary subject, our students come from a wide variety of backgrounds, including medicine, nursing, pharmacy, occupational therapy, health services, health service management, environmental health and graduates with a background in the natural sciences, social sciences or humanities subjects.



GPA requirements may differ depending on the country you where you graduated. To study for a master's degree at the University of Liverpool, you must first complete the pre-master's courses offered by the University. Also, your study period can be extended if your English language skills are not good. Bear in mind that this program requires a minimum IELTS score of 7 (Listening 6.5, Reading 6.5, Writing 6.5, Speaking 6.5), or a minimum TOEFL score of 100 (Listening 21, Writing 21, Reading 21, Speaking 23).
