Accreditation is a process to assure you that the Civil or Environmental Engineering degree you earn at UConn can be trusted to prepare you for your career objectives, including gaining employment as an engineer after graduating and eventually becoming licensed as a Professional Engineer (PE). The Civil Engineering undergraduate program educational objectives are to prepare our alumni/ae with the knowledge and skills needed to actively contribute to the practice and profession of engineering, including management and administration, in the public, private or academic sectors in the technical areas of construction, environmental, geotechnical, structural, transportation, and water resources engineering.

A non-refundable application fee of 80 USD is required. This program only accepts candidates who have completed 12 years of school education. Otherwise, you are advised to complete 1 year of Bachelor's degree in your country or choose between International Foundation and International Year One programs.
