Design

Through its curriculum and production program, students have the opportunity to prepare for a professional career in the theatre or to continue their studies at the graduate level.The theatre design concentration provides in-depth study and experience in costume, set, or lighting design. Students gain theoretical knowledge and develop their skills in design-based courses, such as Drafting and Computer-Aided Design, Costume Construction, Lighting Theory and Practice, and Architecture and Decoration. Students are also encouraged to choose a secondary design area of study. The comprehensive core curriculum enables the design student to build a broad base of knowledge in theatre, covering performance, technical theatre, theatre history, and other areas.



Lower SAT or ACT will be considered if GPA is higher than a 3.0. A non-refundable application fee of 30 USD is required. All prices are estimated for previous years and are subject to change. This program only accepts candidates who have completed 12 years of school education. Otherwise, you are advised to complete 1 year of Bachelor's degree in your country or choose between International Foundation and International Year One programs.
