This course offers you the opportunity to study one or two languages to degree level and gain practical experience in translation and interpreting. Study one language from post A level and opt to add another either as post A level or beginner. This course provides insights into practical and technical translation and interpreting. There is a strong vocations focus to this course. We model our translation assignments on real-life situations and you will complete at least one translation project for an external organisation. This program offers different language options: (1) study one language post-A level: French, German, Spanish or Russian. (2) Study two languages post-A level: French, German, Spanish or Russian or (3) Study one language post A-level plus one new language from beginners' level: post-A level language: French, German, Spanish or Russian or for beginners': French, German, Spanish, Russian, Portuguese or Serbian/Croatian.

IB of 32 is required with a 5 at Higher Level or 6 at Standard Level (B Programme) in French, German, Russian or Spanish. For 2021 entry, the application fee is 20 GBP for a single choice, or 26 GBP for more than one choice. This program only accepts candidates who have completed 12 years of school education. Requirements may differ depending on the country you are located in. Otherwise, you are advised to complete 1 year of Bachelor's degree in your country or choose between International Foundation and International Year One programs.
