The department educates sociologists for careers in teaching, research, and some applied fields. As a scientific discipline, sociology teaches students how to use empirical data to understand current social realities and act effectively on the central issues of our time. Few academic disciplines have such a broad scope and relevance.
For IB students, a completion with an overall IB score of 24 or higher or a score of 4.0 or higher for each subject is required. Moreover, an ACT score of 21 is acceptable. For Unibroad applicants, the university's application fee will be waived. Please, bear in mind that this program isn’t offered for Russian and Azerbaijani citizens.
