In the Department of Anthropology at American University, the collective mission is to do public anthropology in the service of social justice. Faculty and students work against racism, sexism, environmental degradation, speciesism, social discriminations, class oppression, forced community displacements, and much else.
All prices are estimated for previous years and are subject to change. Bank letter showing at least U.S.$70,231 for first year of study and living expenses is required. This program only accepts candidates who have completed 12 years of school education. Otherwise, you are advised to complete 1 year of Bachelor's degree in your country or choose between International Foundation and International Year One programs. Please, bear in mind that this program isn’t offered for Russian and Azerbaijani citizens.
