Offered by the Department of World Languages and Cultures, College of Arts and Sciences, the Language and Area Studies: Russian/Area Studies (BA) is designed for students with a strong interest in a region of the world and in a language of that region. This innovative program achieves a balance between humanities and social sciences courses, combined with an advanced level of foreign language study.

All prices are estimated for previous years and are subject to change. Bank letter showing at least U.S.$70,231 for first year of study and living expenses is required. This program only accepts candidates who have completed 12 years of school education. Otherwise, you are advised to complete 1 year of Bachelor's degree in your country or choose between International Foundation and International Year One programs. Please, bear in mind that this program isn’t offered for Russian and Azerbaijani citizens.
