In an increasingly complex world that grows smaller every day, the study of languages, literatures, and cultures is of vital importance. This program offers learning of the ways other nations live and think furthers understanding among peoples and cultures. The Department of World Languages and Cultures (WLC) offers extensive undergraduate study in foreign language and culture (Arabic Studies (BA), French Studies (BA), German Studies (BA), Russian Studies (BA), and Spanish Studies (BA)). Students have the opportunity to work with diverse and multilingual faculty who are experts in critical language pedagogy, linguistics, translation, and literature, as well as a wide range of theoretical and critical approaches as they relate to studies of culture, colonialism, race and ethnicity, gender, sexuality, migration, and human rights, among other areas.



All prices are estimated for previous years and are subject to change. Bank letter showing at least U.S.$70,231 for first year of study and living expenses is required. This program only accepts candidates who have completed 12 years of school education. Otherwise, you are advised to complete 1 year of Bachelor's degree in your country or choose between International Foundation and International Year One programs. Please, bear in mind that this program isn’t offered for Russian and Azerbaijani citizens.
