Engineering Physics

Engineering physics is a cross-functional major that bridges the gap between applied science and practical engineering. It's both experimental and theoretical as it emphasizes research and development while also focusing on the design and analysis of complex problems. At Pacific, the engineering physics curriculum combines depth in mathematics and physics beyond other engineering majors, which prepares students for success in all technical fields. Working alongside faculty advisors, students personalize their study plans to fit their academic and career goals. All engineering physics students complete a senior design project, which provides an opportunity to apply engineering fundamentals and design methods to the solution of a real-world problem.
