Auburn Engineering's Department of Computer Science and Software Engineering offers students the chance to study software applications ranging from personal computers to entertainment systems to life-critical applications such as medical, flight and space systems. These applications require a high degree of specialization and expertise, which is exactly how the department prepares students in this fast-paced environment. The department offers three undergraduate degrees; three masters degrees, and the doctoral degree.

A non-refundable application fee of 60 USD is required. SAT or ACT is required. Moreover, a proof of financial support for themselves AND their dependents, which covers the cost of tuition, fees, housing, food, books, supplies, personal items, transportation and health insurance for a minimum of 9 months is required for the admission.
