Department of Horticulture has been recognized nationally for its research programs, its student-centered faculty members and its high rate of employment for graduates. As a horticulture major, you’ll learn how to establish, propagate, harvest and manage fruits, vegetables and ornamental plants. The landscape horticulture track will provide you with the opportunity to combine the science of horticulture and your creative abilities in creating aesthetically beautiful, inviting and functional environments. You will learn valuable skills that will provide you with the competitive edge employers are looking for. Landscape horticulturists use the principles of design and the appropriate plant material to create both residential and commercial landscapes.

Please, bear in mind that this program isn’t offered for Russian and Azerbaijani citizens. SAT or ACT is required. Moreover, a proof of financial support for themselves AND their dependents, which covers the cost of tuition, fees, housing, food, books, supplies, personal items, transportation and health insurance for a minimum of 9 months is required for the admission.
