Fisheries and Aquaculture

A bachelor’s degree in fisheries science will prepare you for employment in commercial aquaculture, aquaculture extension, fish hatchery management, fish population assessment, management of recreational fisheries and enhancement of aquatic environments. With courses in hatchery management, aquaculture production, fish health and water science, this option will prepare you for a career farming aquatic animals in freshwater and salt water.



Please, bear in mind that this program isn’t offered for Russian and Azerbaijani citizens. SAT or ACT is required. Moreover, a proof of financial support for themselves AND their dependents, which covers the cost of tuition, fees, housing, food, books, supplies, personal items, transportation and health insurance for a minimum of 9 months is required for the admission.
