Latin American and Latino Studies

As a Latin American and Latino Studies major, you’ll explore the cultural contributions of Latin Americans to the global community and the perspectives and traditions that have developed in the region. Students examine the multicultural relationship between peoples and cultures of Latin America, including indigenous, European, Semitic, Arab, Asian and African societies, and explore the profound linkage that has emerged between Latin America and the United States, particularly through the construction of Latino communities in the U.S.



Requirements may differ depending on the country you are located in.A non-refundable application fee of 40 USD is required. A minimum score of 540 from SAT reading and writing section is required. As an alternative, minimum reading score of 18 and English score of 20 from ACT is required. Pricing is subject to change.
