Integrated Media Arts (IMA) is a cross-disciplinary major that reflects the engagement of new imaging technologies in contemporary art with a study of their cultural impact. You will use of digital technology as a sophisticated art-making tool within a broad, cross-disciplinary context. The opportunity for interdepartmental investigation and collaboration within the Hartford Art School and across the University, exploring new media with traditional art disciplines, is an underlying principle of this major.
A non-refundable application fee of 30 USD is required. Half of applicants admitted to the University of Hartford have an SAT score between 1030 and 1230.
