Master of Science in Education
The 42 credit MSED in Counseling program offers two focus options: School Counseling (formerly known as guidance counseling) and College Student Development Counseling. The school counseling focus prepares graduate students for professional practice as school counselors in schools, K-12, and qualifies students school counseling certification in New York State. The College Student Development Counseling focus prepares graduates to work in various counseling, advisement, and student affairs positions on the college and university level.
