Begin a rewarding career in art therapy with the Master of Arts (MA) in Creative Arts Therapy Counseling at Hofstra University. Recognized and approved by the American Art Therapy Association since 1984, our program features new and refined courses in ethics, diversity, aging and development, career counseling, and experiential learning, including a first-year practicum. Hofstra prepares you for licensure in New York State as a Creative Arts Therapist and as a registered and board-certified Art Therapist. Attend full-time and finish in as little as two years or attend part-time and complete the program in three years. No GRE is required, and scholarships are available for qualified candidates.
