Earn certification to teach in New Jersey public schools through the BA/MAT program. Begin taking teacher preparation courses while pursuing your Bachelor of Arts. Then, earn a Master of Arts in Teaching degree and a provisional dual teaching certification in elementary (K-6) or secondary education in a content area (English, Math, Science, Social Studies, World Language, the Arts).
