The Simon Perry Center seeks to inspire students to focus on how our Constitutional tradition has been shaped by individuals in American history as well as by various social, economic and cultural forces, and to examine its importance in contemporary legal, political and cultural matters. The Center approaches its mission academically and through various outreach efforts, including its signature initiative, the Amicus Curiae Lecture Series on Constitutional Democracy. The Center ensures that particular upper level courses created by Dr. Perry and focusing on issues of constitutional democracy will continue to be taught at Marshall University.
