The School of Engineering provides professional education in engineering through the Departments of Biomedical Engineering; Civil, Construction, and Environmental Engineering; Electrical and Computer Engineering; Materials Science and Engineering; and Mechanical Engineering. The Bachelor of Science in Biomedical Engineering; Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering; Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering; Bachelor of Science in Materials Engineering; and Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering are accredited by the Engineering Accreditation Commission (EAC) of ABET. The Bachelor of Science in Engineering degree in Engineering Design will seek accreditation from the Engineering Accreditation Commission of ABET as soon as it is eligible to do so.
