The Degree in Medical Image and Radiotherapy (MIR) has a duration of 4 academic years (8 semesters), with a total of 240 ECTS. It aims to train professionals with knowledge, skills and competences for an excellent professional performance, namely within the scope of the activities carried out in the different imaging and therapeutic areas of Radiology, Nuclear Medicine and Radiotherapy. This cycle of studies gives access to the profession similar to that registered in other European countries (corresponding to Level 6 of the European Qualifications Framework), which enables professionals to practice both in Europe and in other countries around the world.

Document certifying that the candidate has a national exam of Biology in is education system with the minimum mark of approved in order to substitute our national access exam of Biologia e Geologia and the respective contents is required. Or if a candidate has not taken the test, he/she can do it in the institution.
