Master of Sciences with thesis
M.Sc. program in Financial Economics aims to train specialists who will be able to analyze the impact of potential economic developments on financial markets, to structure financial products via the evaluation of the results that are borne out of financial models created with quantitative and analytical methods, to work in the treasury, risk management or research departments of the financial institutions. Furthermore, the program is designed to provide a strong background to students aiming to continue their education at the doctorate level. To this end, the courses offered in the program are mainly based on econometrics, macroeconomics, derivatives pricing, and risk management.
All prices are estimated for previous years and are subject to change. The duration of the MSc in Financial Economics Program (without thesis) is a maximum of 3 semesters and with thesis is a maximum of 6 semesters. For admission, ALES (verbal or quantitative or equal weight) ≥55 or GMAT ≥450 or GRE (quantitative) ≥610 are required for the program with thesis. ALES score is not required for the program without a thesis. If a candidate does not have any language proficiency certificate, an internal exam of the university is arrangeable.
