In the Department of Sociology, students are trained as specialists at the regional and national level according to their workforce needs. During their sociology education, our students learn to think critically, to benefit from historical sources, to understand the present and to produce strategies. When you study Sociology at KTO Karatay University, you learn to have an open interdisciplinary perspective on new ideas, methods and concepts. By applying your theoretical knowledge to field studies, you will have the ability to understand and explain society and the social. Thus, you gain the ability to approach, understand and explain macro, meso and micro social events and phenomena.

The registration is open for education in Turkish, however, English Department will be established in 2023-2024. Requirements may differ depending on the country you are located in. ACT score of 21 is accepted.
