Professional Bachelor in Translation
The programme strategy is based primarily on improving language proficiency, paying special attention to mastering literary norm and stylistic diversity (1st-2nd year). Only after having achieved fluency in languages, students can become part of the world of translation by mastering the following methods — first, written translation (2nd-3rd year), and then interpreting — both consecutive interpreting and simultaneous interpreting (3rd-4th year).
This degree is offered in both full-time and part-time formats of study. However, keep in mind that the part-time option is only available for Latvian/EU students. Application fees may differ depending on the citizenship. A non-refundable registration fee of 100 EUR / 200 EUR will be required.
