The focus of the philosophy undergraduate program is a problem and text-centered approach. With the aim of endowing students with philosophical knowledge and attitude simultaneously, Yeditepe University Philosophy Department prioritizes both the history of philosophy and contemporary philosophical discussions. For students to gain such philosophical accumulation, it is aimed not only that students should learn at least one foreign language so that they can get access to original texts, but also they should become competent in their native language so that they can contribute to philosophical language in Turkish.
