The Social Work program is based on a generalist model of social work practice within an organizational structure and critical thinking to change and strengthen the professional abilities of individuals, families, groups and society. The generalist model of social work practice focuses on problem solving rather than focusing on a specific area or method. It uses an "individual in the environment" approach to assessment, giving practice a holistic focus throughout the problem-solving process. According to the model, the social worker is a practitioner with extensive knowledge and skills who analyzes problems and solutions in a comprehensive manner. Our curriculum consists of 36% practical application and 64% theoretical courses. Our students will be able to apply the knowledge and skills they gained in their 4th grade in social service institutions in different regions of the country.

The registration is open for education in Turkish, however, English Department will be established in 2023-2024. Requirements may differ depending on the country you are located in.
