Intense communication and interaction between different language groups is increasing day by day and we are moving towards a limitless world. Contacts, relations and joint activities in the political, commercial, cultural and scientific fields with the Middle East and other Arabic-speaking countries have reached their peak today. This situation has made training Arabic-Turkish translators and interpreters an undeniable need. Although there are many people in Turkey dealing with Arabic-Turkish translation, the inadequacy of translators who are aware of the social, cultural and political dimensions of translation is striking. The aim of our undergraduate program is to raise awareness of students in all fields related to translation, to present practical examples together with theoretical knowledge, and thus to train qualified translators and academics of the future.

Registration is open for study in Turkish and Arabic, but the English department will be established in 2023-2024. Requirements may vary depending on the country where you are located.
