Bachelor's Degree in Nursing
The Department of Nursing, which provides a four-year undergraduate education, aims to bring a different understanding to nursing education in our country. As in all professions that work with people and focus on people, in nursing, our students become familiar with social sciences, behavioral sciences and basic medical sciences. The Department of Nursing aims to train individuals who can look at health problems holistically, adopt human values, and produce solutions based on scientific knowledge. There are three main differences that distinguish the curriculum of KTO Karatay University Nursing Department from other nursing education programs. The first of these is a mixture of experimental, aesthetic and ethical learning methods that form the basis of the educational science model and nursing. The second difference is the compulsory and elective courses included in the program and carefully implemented to eliminate the lack of self-care and gaps in nurse-patient communication. The third difference of the program is that nursing care is based on the understanding of nursing care theorists rather than a medical model. This training program, which is a first in our country with these features, meets the needs of our country in this field with qualified nurses.
The registration is open for education in Turkish, however, English Department will be established in 2023-2024. Requirements may differ depending on the country you are located in. ACT score of 21 is accepted.
