Midwifery is a specialty and a respected profession based on a certain level of basic health education. In countries where midwifery is carried out according to international standards, cesarean rates are low and breastfeeding rates are high. Again, in the same countries, natural birth rates are high and interventions applied at birth are less. Maternal and infant deaths are almost never encountered. The main purpose of the midwifery program is to implement an education system in line with world standards. Another purpose of this program is to support non-governmental organizations and associations operating in the performance of the rights and duties of midwives; is to train respected and well-equipped midwives who are aware of their responsibilities. The Midwifery Department attaches great importance to field-academy cooperation and adopts an integrated system in practice.

The registration is open for education in Turkish, however, English Department will be established in 2023-2024. Requirements may differ depending on the country you are located in. ACT score of 21 is accepted.
