Students are expected to continue their development as musicians while increasing their knowledge of string pedagogy practices. The graduate curriculum for this sequence provides specialized study in string pedagogy (pedagogy and literature, professional practice, applied lessons on primary and secondary stringed instruments) alongside core music courses (music theory, history, and research methods).
