The Master of Music Education degree allows the graduate student to study current issues in music education. The core required classes cover curriculum, evaluation, psychology of music, music research, and foundations of the music education profession. Master's candidates are also given the opportunity to develop a specialized area of concentration which may include but is not limited to specialties such as conducting, applied instrumental or vocal lessons, or education administration.
