Mining engineers are involved at every stage of a mining operation - from the point of exploration and discovery, to mine design and planning, mine construction, ore extraction and processing, and eventually mine site rehabilitation. This degree enables an additional, specialized science focus which complements the core engineering foundations.

For Unibroad applicants, the application fee of AUD 100 will be waived. For our students who are studying offshore in 2022, the University will continue to offer high-quality access to the learning resources remotely for most programs. Students commencing in July may have a slightly limited selection of courses.
