In Geography you'll study both social and physical sciences to analyse and understand major challenges facing the world. You can specialise in human geography or physical geography, or combine elements of both. You will also have the opportunity to go on field trips, and to work with partner organisations to help them solve real world problems. Politics confronts the big issues that affect society. You’ll get an overview of the British political system as well as examining some of the most complex problems faced by humanity and the ideas that underpin them. You can study from optional modules on Russian, Irish, and Middle Eastern politics, nations and nationalism, political theories, and on human rights and humanitarian intervention.
