This course will teach you about linguistics, with a focus on English. In your final year you will take modules specifically relating to Teaching English as a Foreign Language (TEFL), setting you on the path to becoming qualified as an instructor of English.You will get the opportunity to explore the ways in which people’s language abilities develop, how our language changes according to the context in which it is being used and who is speaking, how language is organized and processed in the brain, how language is learnt and how it is taught.

In order to progress to this program, Pathway program is required first.
