History is an inspiring, dynamic and relevant subject. It is always expanding and adapting to absorb new ideas and ask new questions of the past. Studying history will also help you develop practical skills valued by employers, such as the ability to collect and analyse data and to construct a clear argument. This History (with Foundation Year) option is a four-year course with an integrated foundation year which leads to the same qualification as our three-year honours degree.
