This degree is aimed at those with an active interest in the welfare of animals in captivity and who wish to develop this into a professional career. You will develop your theoretical and practical skills with state-of-the-art facilities designed with animal welfare and specific behavioural needs in mind. Modules include animal behaviour, anatomy and physiology, animal cognition and learning, conservation, and animal health and disease management. The wide range of topics covered will enable you to consider a number of industry posts, including those in management and research.
