Digital Media Practices Coordinate
New Orleans is an important center for Digital Media Practice. From film-making and television to game design and the recording arts, the creative industries demand experienced digital media practitioners both locally and nationally. The mission of Tulane’s Digital Media Practices Program is to educate our students in the art, craft, and technology of this inherently interdisciplinary field. Our program offers intensive, hands-on production experience in courses dedicated to film and audio production, screenwriting, documentary filmmaking, cinematography, color-grading, digital art, theater, media theory, and film analysis. Our program focuses on the development of individual talent and skills within a collaborative and professional working environment while encouraging our students to be creative and thoughtful practitioners in the world of media
