Master of Engineering
Illinois Tech’s Master of Engineering in Energy Systems, Energy Transmission, and Markets Track provides student with in-depth knowledge of power engineering and the managerial skills needed to advance within the industry. Course topics include hybrid vehicle drives, power market operations, and power system transaction management. Electives are available in power market economics security, deregulated power systems, and microgrid design and operation. Two additional specialty tracks—energy conservation and buildings, and energy generation and sustainability—are also taught by faculty who have set the bar in energy systems and will empower students to become the next energy pioneers.
