This course aims to provide you with a broad understanding of current technology and practice in electrical and electronic engineering, covering the relevant aspects of analogue and digital electronic engineering, electrical power generation and distribution and control of electrical machines as well as additional specialist areas according to the option modules studied. The discipline of electrical and electronic engineering encompasses a wide skills base and the emphasis of this course is placed on electrical power electronics and the control or electrical machines suitable for industry, this encompasses elements of system level design, programming and mathematical principals.
