This course combines academic study with practical hands-on training in fire service operations. It covers leadership, fire risk management, fire and rescue operations, fire science, fire safety, fire investigation, human resource management, business and management practice. Foundation Entry degree courses are designed for students who have the ability to study for a degree, but don’t have the necessary formal qualifications to directly enter their chosen Honours degree programme.
