The BA in Elementary Education (ELED) prepares teacher candidates to address the learning and socio-emotional needs of children from 1st through 6th grades. This intensive, field-based program prepares every candidate to work democratically with diverse children and families, including those with special needs and second language backgrounds. It provides opportunities to earn a combination of Illinois teaching credentials.

The minimum score required is 6.5 with no band score below 6.0, to include a score of 6.5 or higher on the Academic Writing Band. Internet-based Exam | The minimum score is 80, with no section scores below 17 and a score of 18 or higher on the Writing section (a score of 22 or higher on the Writing section is required for graduate students). Paper-based Exam | The minimum score is 550, with a score of 4.5 or higher on the Writing section. Students with scores below the identified minimums may be eligible for admission to Roosevelt University. Also, some programs require higher subset scores. Please check with your Admission Counselor. This program is available in Chicago and Schaumburg campuses.
