Master of Chemistry
BSc and MChem provide you with a solid grounding in investigative techniques and modern instrumentation. This enables you to gain the problem-solving and presentation skills that a forensic chemist needs. Chemistry with Forensic Investigation courses combine core chemistry modules with topics including forensic evidence, the toxicology of drugs and DNA profiling. You’ll benefit from our research-active academics and strong professional links, gaining the confidence to translate your ideas into practice. You can apply to study for either a BSc or an MChem (Master of Chemistry). The MChem builds on the BSc course with a masters year and is a direct route to a masters qualification.
In order to progress to this program, Pre-master's program is required first. IELTS Academic requirement is 6.5 overall with 6.0 in Writing and 5.5 in each other element. Annual fees will increase by 4% for each subsequent year of study.
