The M.A. program aims to prepare students for careers in the media and communications sector as well as academic careers. The program encourages free and creative thinking, emphasizing research, analysis, interpretation, and criticism. Aiming at improving the standards of Turkish media, visual and cultural studies, the program encourages theoretical, interdisciplinary, and comparative approaches.

At least 6.5 IELTS score (5.5 from each section) is required. Tuition fees are payable in two installments, before the registration dates of the fall and spring semesters. All fees are subject to adjustment each year according to changes in the cost of living.
